The top prize of the International section

The Golden Beaver is the highest honour a film can receive in the International section. It celebrates outstanding children’s productions from around the world: stories that move young audiences, respect their intelligence and cross borders.

How it is decided

Films selected for International Competition are reviewed by selection panels and specialised juries. The Academy then votes on the Top Nominees in every category, and the final round names the winner. Winners receive the Golden Beaver and the badge stays on the film page and on the profile of every credited crew member.

Who can win

Films and crew from any country, in each International category: feature, short, animation, documentary, student work, and TV and web series.
