Synopsis
Kyung-mok, the head of the household, has just lost his mother and is now responsible for his pregnant wife. He has been holding his breath and could not fully face his grief. As he finishes his first travel essay, he revisits Suili in Taiwan—the unforgettable place of his first overseas trip with his mother. In Taiwan, he meets Lin Wen-shan, a woman who has buried a son. Through her, the grief he had suppressed all this time about his mother surges like a wave. Kyung-mok decides to shed all his responsibilities during the journey in Taiwan and to focus on himself. Now, he truly wants to confront the emotion he has long avoided.
