Synopsis

Finding Footprints

Lilly Evergreen, a 12-year-old hearing-impaired Indigenous girl, experiences the world through vibrations, intuition, and the rhythm of nature. When she stumbles upon an ancient trail of footprints leading into an enchanted forest, she encounters Whinston—a teenage Bigfoot eager to prove himself as the next Forest Guardian.

To earn his place, Whinston must complete two sacred trials: rescuing a lost Pegasus hatchling and protecting Naya, a sacred spirit bear cub whose survival is crucial to the balance of the land’s waters. But as unseen forces threaten their journey, Lilly and Whinston must rely on their unique strengths—and each other—to restore harmony to the forest.

A breathtaking and emotionally rich animated short, Finding Footprints is a tale of courage, friendship, and the unseen magic that connects us all. With lush, hand-crafted animation and a deeply resonant narrative, it explores themes of belonging, environmental stewardship, and the power of listening in ways beyond sound.

The film’s trailer features the original song Till We Meet Again, a heartfelt anthem that echoes the spirit of adventure, hope, and the bonds that endure beyond words.
