Synopsis
“Green Signal” is a human-centered short film about how a small act of trust can change a life.
At a busy city traffic signal, two different worlds intersect — Deep, a young working professional rushing to office, and Golu, a homeless child surviving by begging. For Deep, the signal is just another stop in his daily routine. For Golu, it is his entire world.
One morning, Deep forgets his water bottle and asks Golu to bring one from a nearby shop, giving him money and trust instead of charity. That simple moment becomes a turning point. Inspired by this trust, Golu slowly stops begging and begins selling water bottles at the signal with dignity.
A month later, when Deep returns to the city, he discovers that his small gesture became Golu’s green signal — a chance to dream, to work, and to live with self-respect.
The film reminds us that
a beggar does not ask for money — he asks for an opportunity.
