Synopsis
After losing his most faithful companion, a man becomes trapped in grief and the profound emptiness that only the absence of a beloved animal can leave behind. But in a tender dialogue from beyond, it is the dog who finds the words to speak.
With gentleness and gratitude, he encourages his human not to search for him in the past or in death, but in the memories they shared, in the joy of the life they lived together, and in the life that still lies ahead. As images of their genuine bond unfold like fragments of memory, the boundary between those who remain and those who have gone gradually fades, transforming grief into one final act of love: letting go.
"So che ti manco" (I Know You Miss Me) is a visual poem dedicated to everyone who has lost an animal who was truly family. An intimate story about loss, gratitude, and the enduring power of love that, even beyond death, continues to care for those left behind.
