Synopsis
In this first season, the series begins by addressing themes directly related to sibling rivalry. Conflicts arise in the bedroom; the duo then moves to the living room seeking help or support, but ultimately finds resolution in the garden and the playhouse. The early episodes deal with very tangible issues for children, such as sharing space and toys, tidying up the bedroom, and managing feelings of jealousy during birthdays or gift-giving.
Several episodes are also dedicated to universal childhood challenges: fear of the dark, lying, and greediness. As the season progresses, the series explores more delicate emotional themes, such as taking responsibility, empathy (notably through adopting a cat), and boredom. Finally, the last few episodes broaden Ina and Didi’s horizons by tackling wider concepts, such as respect for the environment and the strength of family values.
