Synopsis
Milo, a clocksmith, has become dull and passionless due to his reliance on a magic tool that effortlessly repairs watches and clocks for him. One day, a confident 10-year-old girl, Mina, brings in her late father’s old, broken pocket watch- unaware that it holds magic of its own. The watch creates a magic forcefield that prevents Milo’s tool from fixing it. After a multitude of crazy failed attempts, the forcefield finally breaks, sending the tool flying around his workshop in a frenzy. In the chaos, the pocket watch is destroyed, and the tool loses its magic. Milo is distraught by the loss of his tool. However, he decides to work on the watch on his own after inspecting a photo that flew out of it. It was of Mina and her father, who is wearing a South African Airforce jacket, which is the same oversized jacket Mina wore to the store. Milo makes the correlation that Mina’s father passed away when connecting it to the dog tags that were chained to the watch. He fixes the watch by hand which restores his passion for his craft.
