A fantastical art film about the encounter between an adult woman, the filmmaker playing herself, and her childhood self. The girl first appears as a doll, coming to life only in the open air, where the boundaries between reality, memory and imagination begin to blur.
Using a visual technique that divides each frame between black and white and colour, the film merges childhood and adulthood within the same image, creating a dialogue between two different states of being. Through their encounter and play, the adult woman reconnects with the child she once was.
The film reflects on the enduring connection to childhood and the parts of ourselves that remain with us as we move through life.
