Synopsis
For fifteen years, Ayoung’s father never paid child support.
Instead, he would occasionally ask her to cover his gas and electricity bills—requests that only widened the emotional distance between them.
One day, the father’s health suddenly deteriorates, and he passes away.
Ayoung attends his funeral carrying an unspoken discomfort, now living in her mother’s remarried household as an outsider.
At the funeral, she encounters an unexpected presence: Jinseon, a woman who had lived with her father for the past seven years.
As unease and confusion set in, Ayoung discovers that the mobile phone her father used is registered under Jinseon’s name.
Triggered by her father’s death, Ayoung wants to untangle every unresolved relationship left behind.
She seeks out Jinseon to cancel the phone contract, but in doing so, she is forced to confront the life her father lived—one she chose to ignore—and the emotions he left behind for her.
