Shchedryk

On Christmas Eve, a young masked caroler named Shchedrik, along with other children from the orphanage, walks around the apartments, begging for treats and money. He finds himself on the threshold of a lonely old woman's apartment, and the oppressive atmosphere in the dwelling, along with the anxious silence of the hostess, makes the guy uneasy.

Turning on the flashlight on his phone, he discovers that the old lady is sick and seems to be preparing for death. In her delirium, the old woman mistakes a stranger in a scary mask for a messenger from the other world and asks to be transported to another world, but the guy is more interested in her valuables. Playing the role of a merry caroler, Shchedrik suddenly realizes that he has a chance to enrich himself. He helps an old woman collect valuables for the next world, putting the loot in his bag, but he has doubts.
