Sugar Blossom

"Sugar Blossom is a cinematic outcry against the stolen innocence of girlhood, where a forced marriage turns a child's sanctuary into a sacrificial ritual."

Sugar Blossom (Shakh-e Nabat)
In a remote village where tradition carves the destiny of children, a vibrant young girl shares a world of innocence with "Sugar Blossom," her beloved ewe. This bond is her only sanctuary until the arrival of an aging suitor turns her playground into a marketplace. As she is adorned in a heavy bridal veil, her world collapses when her companion is slaughtered as a wedding sacrifice—a brutal ritual mirroring her own lost childhood. Through the trauma of a forced union and the physical rejection of her new "reality," she makes a haunting choice: to reclaim her soul by nurturing the only fragment of love left—Sugar Blossom's orphaned lamb.
