Synopsis
THE HEIST follows Lilly, a determined girl whose dog, Snow, is kept by her mother after she returns from a trip to Italy. When the attempt to get Mom to give Snow back fails, Lilly decides there is only one solution:
She’s going to steal her dog back.
With the help of her friends, Lilly assembles an unlikely crew and launches an increasingly ridiculous series of schemes to jailbreak Snow from Mom. What begins as a simple dog rescue quickly spirals into an outrageous adventure involving elaborate plans, disastrous escapes, unexpected allies, and a dog who may be far smarter—and more chaotic—than anyone anticipated.
But as Lilly gets deeper into her mission, she begins to discover that her mother isn't simply trying to keep Snow away from her. Beneath their hilarious battle is something much more complicated: a mother trying to navigate her life now that she is alone.
THE HEIST is a big-hearted animated comedy about family, friendship, stubbornness, and the lengths we'll go to for the ones we love.
One girl. One dog. One mom. One very unnecessary heist.
