Following its World Premiere at the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival, The Thrift Store Dress went on to win the Grand Prize for Best Film and Best Original Score at the 2026 Niagara International Music Film Festival.
Set against the American Dust Bowl of the 1930s, this uplifting musical drama follows a young girl’s unexpected gift of a second-hand dress and the lifelong friendship and love that grow from it, ultimately spanning six decades and two continents.
An atmospheric, beautifully photographed story about kindness, inclusion, resilience and the enduring human connection created by one simple act of generosity.
